The Buffalo Sabres are expected to be busy at the NHL trade deadline, and one player likely to be dealt is top-six winger Matt Moulson.
According to Chris Botta of the Sports Business Journal, more than a third of the league has expressed interest in acquiring Moulson.

With this many teams in the race, rookie general manager Tim Murray should be able to get a significant return for the pending unrestricted free agent. Buffalo acquired Moulson, a first-round pick and a second-round pick earlier in the year from the New York Islanders in exchange for star forward Thomas Vanek.
Moulson has tallied 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) in 40 games since joining the Sabres. He’s a three-time 30-goal scorer and would upgrade any contending team’s power play with his playmaking skills.
His salary cap hit for this season is only $3.13 million, which is a team-friendly number for general managers without an abundance of room under the cap ceiling to work with at the trade deadline.
