Slapshot Classic: Jon Lester Takes Commanding Lead In Competition

Jon Lester really should get more opportunities to take some swings, because the Red Sox pitcher has proved he’s decent with a stick.

Well, a hockey stick, anyway. The left-hander became the second competitor in the Slapshot Classic on Tuesday evening, taking his 10 shots and racking up seven points. Lester blew past David Ross’ four points to take the lead in the hockey contest.
