jhallJeffrey Hall, a 19-year-old member of the University of Colorado football team, was arrested Saturday after he allegedly tried to choke out a woman at a house party.

The victim, Adrienne Lettow, approached police when they arrived at the party to handle a noise complaint, and she told them that Hall had attacked her at the party, according to Mitchell Byars of the Daily Camera.

As police talked with Lettow, a former member of the University’s track team, Hall and one of his teammates emerged from the house, where Hall aggressively approached Lettow as his teammate attempted to hold him back.

After Hall obeyed the police’s initial and repeated demands to sit down, Lettow reportedly said something along the lines of “that’s what you get,” which prompted Hall to lunge at her.

Police reportedly used a taser to subdue Hall, but not before further charges were added, including second-degree assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
