Barry BondsRetired MLB slugger Barry Bonds is still hitting it big — this time with real estate.

The home run legend sold his extravagant estate in Beverly Hills, Calif., on March 5 for $22 million, according to Trulia.com. He originally purchased the house for $8.7 million in 2002.

The seven-bedroom, 13-bath mansion boasts a pool, home gym, game room, home theater and two-story guest house. The entire home was renovated in the theme of a Tuscan villa and features hand-painted murals, Venetian plaster, and Italian Travertine and limestone flooring.

Bonds originally listed the property at $25 million as homage to his former jersey number, which he considers his lucky number.

The controversial six-time MVP has moved back to San Francisco, where he has joined the Giants once again as a spring training instructor.
