Columbus Blue Jackets forward Nick Foligno showed true determination Tuesday night when he scored an impressive goal while laying on his stomach on the ice.

Foligno struggled to get in position in front of the net as Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jonathan Ericsson pulled him down, but that didn’t stop Foligno from going for the back of the net. Foligno got off a backhand shot while on his belly, with Ericsson leaning into him. The impressive goal tied the game at 1-1, and the Blue Jackets went on to win 4-1.
