Bruins’ Forecheck Puts Pressure On Capitals, Creates Scoring Chances (Video)

When the Boston Bruins are on top of their game, they use a physical and aggressive forecheck to wear down opponents’ defensemen and create scoring chances.

In Thursday night’s game against the Washington Capitals at TD Garden, the Bruins got the puck deep in the attacking zone consistently and won puck battles along the end boards. When Washington tried to break out of its own zone, the B’s put relentless pressure on the Capitals’ defensemen to disrupt their rush up ice and force turnovers.

Check out one example of the Bruins’ successful forecheck in the Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind video above.
