The Boston Bruins made a roster move Friday morning, recalling forward Matt Lindblad from the team’s AHL affiliate in Providence. Lindblad joined the team for practice Friday in Wilmington, Mass.

Lindblad, a Dartmouth College product, has tallied seven goals and 15 assists in 43 games for the P-Bruins this season. He was called up on two occasions earlier this season but has never seen action in an NHL game.

Lindblad could be used as another option in place of fourth-line winger Daniel Paille, who has missed the last two games after suffering a minor concussion in Sunday’s win over the Florida Panthers.

The Bruins will look to extend their seven-game winning streak Saturday afternoon when they host the Carolina Hurricanes at TD Garden.
