Bruins Score Three Times In Third Period, Extend Win Streak To 12 Games (Video)

The Boston Bruins’ win streak was in danger of being snapped on Saturday night, but the team persevered and scored three third-period goals to win 4-2 and extend their historic run to 12 games.

Shawn Thornton’s goal at 16:42 of the third period proved to be the difference. He tipped a shot from linemate Daniel Paille past Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith for his fifth goal of the season.

Check out a replay of his goal and postgame interview with NESN’s Jamie Erdahl in the video above.
