One day, fans will learn that rushing the court never ends well, but that day is not today.

The Miami Heat-Cleveland Cavaliers game on Tuesday night must not have been holding one fan’s attention because Scotty turned to Twitter to liven things up. Scotty began a social media campaign, saying that for 1,000 retweets, he would storm the court.

Well, getting 1,000 people to watch someone else get tackled and arrested proved to be no problem for Scotty. But what was a problem was ever getting the opportunity to step on the hardwood. Someone among the thousand who saw the spectator’s tweet informed a security guard of the young man’s plan and he was promptly kicked out of Quicken Loans Arena.

But, hey, congrats on 1,000 retweets!
