Corey Perry reminded Colorado Avalanche coach Patrick Roy on Friday night that people don’t forget.

The last time the Anaheim Ducks and Avalanche squared off, Roy celebrated his first win as an NHL coach by attempting to break down the glass partition between the benches after partaking in some serious jawing with Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau in the waning seconds of the Avs’ 6-1 win.

The two teams picked up right where they left off in their second meeting of the season. In the midst of a testy third period, Perry was told by a referee to move further down the bench after doing a little bit of chirping. The Ducks forward obliged, but not before he checked the stability of the glass partition and gave Roy a thumbs-up. Unsurprisingly, the Colorado coach wasn’t amused.
