For the 10th time Monday afternoon, David Ortiz will take the field in a Boston Red Sox uniform on Opening Day.
The Sox’s season-opening tilt against the Baltimore Orioles will be Ortiz’s 12th overall as a designated hitter, tying him with Don Baylor for the most Opening Day starts as a DH.
