FORT MYERS, Fla. — A few Boston Red Sox players paid a visit to Dunk City on Thursday.
Dustin Pedroia, Mike Napoli, David Ross and Jonny Gomes attended the Florida Gulf Coast University men’s basketball game against East Tennessee State at Alico Arena in Fort Myers on Thursday.
FGCU, which burst onto the national scene in 2013 by becoming the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament, treated the Red Sox quartet to a 69-64 victory.
