Following his Tuesday trade from the Anaheim Ducks, Washington Capitals forward Dustin Penner is already making an impression with his new fans.

Penner sent out a SOS message to his Twitter followers on Friday night, saying that he was stranded at the grocery store without a ride home. The 31-year-old begged his fans in the Twitterverse to give him a ride home in exchange for tickets to his debut game with the Capitals.

Luckily for Penner, Emilio Delgado, a self-proclaimed hockey nut and sports enthusiast (according to his Twitter bio), came to his rescue.
