Eli Manning Awkwardly Jams Out With Better Than Ezra At Mardi Gras (Video)

Better Than Ezra performs almost every Mardi Gras at the House of Blues in New Orleans, but this year, the ’90s band’s set list took an unexpected turn when New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning hopped onstage for an impromptu solo.

Manning joined the rock trio in singing “This Time of Year,” with vocal chops that gave the lead singer a run for his money.

OK, maybe not. But the effort definitely was there.

The 33-year-old New Orleans native didn’t know quite what to do with his hands during the performance, but the audience forgave him and cheered him on the whole way through. He retreated after just one verse.
