The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the rival Pittsburgh Penguins 4-0 on Saturday afternoon to end a two-game losing streak.
In addition to all of the goals the home team scored, Flyers captain Claude Giroux added another monster hit to his highlight reel by laying out Penguins center Evgeni Malkin in the defensive zone during the second period.
Giroux doesn’t have great size, but he’s still able to make an impact physically by delivering clean hits using solid fundamentals.
