The Harlem Globetrotters can make a lot of people look silly on the basketball court, but they can’t do this.
The Philadelphia Flyers’ Claude Giroux and Wayne Simmonds combined for a rare cross-sport alley-oop Sunday night during the Globetrotters’ visit to the Philadelphia 76ers’ Wells Fargo Center. Giroux and Simmonds, who had completed the trick flawlessly in practice, had a little trouble in front of the big crowd and bright lights, but they eventually got some revenge for the Globetrotters getting the best of them thanks to the help of Giroux’s stick.
