Glass-Banging Fan Pummeled By Collision During Canadiens Game (Video)

The third (glass) wall between fan and athlete was broken Friday night during a Columbus Blue Jackets-Montreal Canadiens game.

One enthusiastic fan was banging on the glass when two players collided in front of her, launching her back off the glass and onto the floor.

There was no contest — the fan didn’t stand a chance against the power of two NHL players smashing into each other at full speed.

Glass-bangers have a pretty bad reputation in the NHL, as many fans find their persistent thudding in non-fight times overeager at best.
