Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly was re-diagnosed with jaw cancer earlier this month after initially beating the disease in June 2013, and his wife says this bout has turned even more serious.
Jill Kelly wrote on her personal blog last week that “the cancer’s back, aggressive, and starting to spread” while sharing a story about the former Buffalo Bills quarterback giving his hospital flowers to another patient battling cancer. Jill Kelly also said on her private Instagram page that her husband is tentatively scheduled for surgery Thursday, according to CBSSports.com.
Over the weekend, Kelly’s daughter, Erin, shared a photo on Instagram of the two of them watching NCAA tournament games together.
