The Harbaugh brothers just can’t catch a break when it comes to their fashion choices.

First, it was San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh taking some serious heat for his $8 khakis from Walmart, and now, the wardrobe hammer is coming down on John Harbaugh. The Baltimore Ravens coach might have inadvertently started a family feud when he chose to rock a Michigan State hat during Sunday’s Spartans-UConn Elite Eight game at Madison Square Garden.

While his MSU hat was likely insulting to his brother Jim, who starred at quarterback for the University of Michigan, it was his brother-in-law and Indiana basketball coach Tom Crean who made it clear that he wasn’t amused with John’s lid of choice.

While it’s all in good fun, it is odd that John was rooting for the Spartans, as the Miami of Ohio graduate’s only tie to Michigan came when he was an assistant coach at Western Michigan.

At any rate, here’s hoping Crean shows up to the next family get-together in a Patriots cap.
