If there’s a lesson here, it’s that almost nothing will stop a mother from tending to her son.
MMA fighter Joe Fisher’s mother defended her son this past weekend when Fisher was put to sleep during his fight at OFC: 20 March Massacre II in Columbus, Ohio, according to a report from BluegrassMMA.com.
Fisher’s fight against Caleb Frasher was almost over when he went to sleep during a rear-naked choke. Fisher’s mother scaled the nine-foot cage to rush to her son’s side. Police had to escort her out of the cage while medics assisted Fisher.
The MMA fans in attendance certainly got an unexpected mother-son show out of the event.
