Nebraska notched a big 77-68 win over No. 9 Wisconsin on Sunday night. But senior Mike Peltz made his biggest play before the game, when the reserve guard topped off a solid pregame speech with just a regular old heart-melting proposal to his girlfriend in front of 15,998 fans.

The Cornhuskers were celebrating Senior Night with the theme “No-Sit Sunday,” and Peltz used the slogan to his full advantage. After firing up the crowd, he noted he’d be violating the rule for just a second, then got down on one knee to propose.

The Huskers report the evening was a double success, as the answer was “yes.”
