President Obama Makes Good On Olympic Bet, Sends Beer To Canada (Photo)

More than two weeks after the Canadian men’s and women’s hockey teams swept the United States out of the 2014 Winter Olympics, President Barack Obama’s victory present finally arrived north of the border.

President Obama and Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper had wagered a case of beer on each Olympic matchup (the women’s final and men’s semifinal) before the games took place in Sochi. Canada was victorious in both — as it was four years ago in Vancouver — and Harper now has a whole bunch of specially made White House brew at his disposal.
