Red Sox-Twins Live: Boston Ends Spring Training With Loss To Minnesota

Top 9th, Twins 6-4: Niko Goodrum walks. With Josmil Pinto batting, Levi Michael steals second base. Josmil Pinto strikes out swinging.

Brayan Villarreal replaces Jose Valdez.

Bottom 8th, Twins 6-4: Michael Brenly strikes out swinging. Heiker Meneses grounds out. Carlos Coste flies out to right fielder Adam Walker.

Caleb Thielbar replaces Jared Burton.

Top 8th, Twins 6-4: Travis Harrison strikes out swinging. Adam Pettersen grounds out. Jason Bartlett grounds out.

Jose Valdez replaces Tommy Layne.

Bottom 7th, Twins 6-4: Joseph Monge, Matt Spring and Stefan Welch all fly out to provide three outs this inning.

Top 7th, Twins 6-3: An Adam Walker home run brings in two for the Twins. Josmil Pinto homers on a fly ball to center field. Niko Goodrum scores. Levi Michael scores.

Tommy Layne replaces Andrew Miller.

Bottom 6th, Red Sox 4-1: Miller walks Brian Dozier. Pinch-runner Levi Michael steps in for Dozier. Kurt Suzuki strikes out swinging and Joe Mauer walks moving Michael to second. Josh Willingham line drives into a double play.

Andrew Miller replaces Jake Peavy.

Top 6th, Red Sox 4-1: Going into the sixth inning, Peavy has thrown 30 pitches, with 23 of them for strikes.

Bottom 5th, Red Sox 4-1: Jonathan Herrera strikes out swinging, Stefan Welch flies out to right field and Grady Sizemore grounds out to end the inning. Sox still up by 3.
