New Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith said at the NFL Scouting Combine in February that he was concerned about a “disturbing pattern” of Williams’ behavior. The wideout is facing trespassing and criminal mischief charges from an incident in December.

Williams signed a five-year, $39.62 million contract last summer. He counts $1.8 million against the Buccaneers’ salary cap in 2014, though Tampa Bay would lose $4.6 million in cap room if he was released.
