DeSean JacksonIt seems to be a matter of “when,” not “if,” the Philadelphia Eagles trade DeSean Jackson.

The Eagles decided to move on from Jackson more than a month ago, Philly.com’s Jimmy Kempski reported Monday. Trade discussions involving Jackson started to leak over the last week.

Numerous teams, including the New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders and New York Jets, reportedly have reached out to the Eagles about Jackson, but his $10.5 million base salary in 2014 could hinder trade discussions. It’s unclear what has caused the Eagles to shop the Pro Bowl wide receiver.

Jackson had 82 catches for 1,332 yards with nine touchdowns in 2013, his best season in the NFL.
