Report: Knowshon Moreno, Miami Dolphins Agree To One-Year Deal

Knowshon MorenoKnowshon Moreno has found a home in free agency.

Moreno agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The contract is worth “about $3 million,” a source told NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

The former Denver Broncos running back will compete for snaps on the Dolphins with Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas.

Moreno had a breakout year in 2013, recording his first 1,000-yard season. He had 241 carries for 1,038 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns with 60 catches for 548 yards and three touchdowns through the air.

Moreno had 37 carries for 224 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots in the Broncos’ Week 12 overtime loss.

Moreno is a former first-round pick out of the University of Georgia. He was taken 12th overall in the 2009 NFL draft.
