The Redskins are among nine teams who have expressed interest in acquiring Jackson, with the Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders and New York Jets all throwing their names into the ring.
The Eagles cut ties with the three-time Pro Bowler because of his alleged gang connections, but Jackson has vehemently denied those rumors.
Jackson is coming off a career year, hauling in 82 passes for 1,332 yards and scoring nine touchdowns.
