Lee Nguyen and Patrick MullinsRevolution fans have the chance to congregate and share their excitement about the 2014 Major League Soccer season this week.

While the Revolution open their 2014 MLS campaign on the road against the Houston Dymano on Saturday, they will host two season opener parties — one in Boston, Mass., and one in Providence, R.I., — to allow local fans cheer them on.

The Boston watch party will take place at The Banshee (934 Dorchester Ave., Boston, Mass.). Ri Ra (50 Exchange Terrace, Providence, R.I.) will be the site of the Providence party.

The Revs-Dynamo game kicks off at 8:30, but the season opener watch parties start at 7:30 p.m.

Each party will feature a Revolution player appearance and Revolution giveaways from the Rev Girls promotional team.

There is no cover charge for the events and they are open to the general public, ages 21 and older.
