Tom Brady, Boston Athletes Thinking Of Fallen Firefighters’ Families

Many prominent faces in the Boston sports world took to social media Wednesday night to offer their support and condolences in the wake of the nine-alarm Beacon Street fire that took the lives of Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy.

The Boston Celtics also held a moment of silence for the victims before their game against the Toronto Raptors, and Brady, whose apartment is just a few buildings away from the site of the blaze, called into WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan” on Thursday to give recognition to those he called “the real heroes.”
