The start of the 2014 NFL season is set to begin on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
That’s when NFL teams are allowed to start signing free agents from other teams. The NFL’s “legal tampering” period started on Saturday at noon. Teams are allowed to begin contract negotiations with agents, but they can’t make anything official until Tuesday. Rumors will be rampant until Tuesday.
Before the signings start coming in, check out the top five free agents at each position. For Patriots fans, there are some familiar faces at wide receiver, center, linebacker and cornerback.
