The golden month of great soccer goals continued Tuesday, as Ciro Immobile added his name to the list of players who have thrilled the soccer world in March.

The Torino forward scored with a perfect volley in the second half of his team’s 2-1 loss to AS Roma.

In the 52nd minute, Torino midfielder Giuseppe Vives lofted a long pass forward from the center circle. Immobile outraced Roma defender Rafael Toloi and hit the ball out of the air with a sweet, left-footed shot, which beat Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis.

The goal was Immobile’s 17th goal in Serie A (Italy’s first division) this season. He is second in the league behind Juventus’ Carlos Tevez.
