Albert Pujols Becomes Third-Youngest Player To Join 500-Homer Club (Video)

Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols hit his 500th career home run on Tuesday night against the Washington Nationals, making him the third-youngest player to join Major League Baseball’s most famous club. [tweet align=”center”]

Pujols, 34, hit his 499th home run earlier in the game. He’s the first player to ever hit his 499th and 500th home run in the same game.

The future Hall of Famer has started the 2014 season strong with a major league-leading eight home runs.
