Nebraska coach Bo Pelini stole the show during Saturday afternoon’s spring game, bringing a cat with him to lead his team out of the tunnel.

With Pelini and his furry friend leading the charge, the head coach then did one better and raised the cat in the air in a scene reminiscent of “The Lion King.”

No, the Cornhuskers aren’t becoming the Cathuskers anytime soon, but this strange situation can actually be somewhat explained. The parody account — @FauxPelini — features an avatar of Pelini posing for what looks like an embarrassing school picture while holding a cat.

But even the immensely popular Twitter account had to give props to Pelini’s decision to bust out his feline companion.
