Bruins defenseman Dougie Hamilton opened the scoring in Tuesday night’s Game 3 against the Detroit Red Wings with a tremendous individual effort.

Hamilton skated the puck into the attacking zone and scored on an incredible wrist shot that beat Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard high glove side. It was the 20-year-old blueliner’s first career playoff goal, and Boston’s third goal scored on the power-play in this series.
