Bruins Lose To Wild In Shootout, Gain Point On Blues In Presidents’ Trophy Race (Video)


The Boston Bruins nearly earned two points against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night, but they allowed a game-tying goal with just over a minute to play in the third period and lost in a shootout.

It wasn’t a horrible result for the B’s because it gave them another point over the St. Louis Blues in the Presidents’ Trophy race. St. Louis lost 4-1 to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night to fall three points behind Boston for the best record in the league through 79 games.
