Bruins Win Four Straight Against Red Wings, Advance To Second Round (Video)

The Boston Bruins took care of business on home ice Saturday afternoon at the TD Garden as they ended the Detroit Red Wings’ season and advanced to the next round in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

After dropping Game 1 in Boston, the B’s turned up the intensity and physicality in the rest of the series, winning four straight to close out the first-round series. While the Black and Gold are certainly proud of their series win, they’re living in the present, according to Claude Julien. The Bruins are already turning their attention to the Montreal Canadiens, who are waiting in the wings after sweeping the Tampa Bay Lightning in four games.
