The Washington Nationals produce a magazine called “Inside Pitch” that is distributed at every home game.

We doubt Nationals manager Matt Williams approves of the latest version.

Williams benched Bryce Harper in the seventh inning of a 4-3 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday after the star outfielder failed to run out a grounder to the pitcher in the sixth inning.

Williams told reporters after the game that the 21-year-old had been benched because of “lack of hustle.”

Here is the magazine that was distributed to fans that same day.

The “Nothing But Hustle” slogan is an ironic twist for Harper, who’s usually known for playing with reckless abandon but didn’t live up to his reputation Saturday.

All would be forgiven for the young star, though, who returned to the lineup Sunday for the Nationals’ 3-2 win over the Cardinals.
