The best of this week’s homers includes a lead-off blast and a Mike Trout long ball.

Boston Red Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski fired a two-run shot to right field during Sunday’s game against the New York Yankees, while Miami’s Giancarlo Stanton slammed a three-run homer to dead center at Miami Park. Stanton has five home runs this season.

Also making this week’s highlight reel was a homer by Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier. The first-inning smack was the third leadoff homer of the season for Dozier.
