Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers needed a pick-me-up Sunday night when they found themselves down 10 points at halftime against the the Houston Rockets, and the team got inspiration from the stands.

Haley Bellows, a Trail Blazers fan and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor, made an appearance on the Jumbotron at the Moda Center in a Lillard jersey and with the perfect sign.

The Trail Blazers ended up coming back to beat the Rockets 123-120, and the photo of Bellows went viral on social media. Before the game, Bellows had posted a photo on Instagram, saying that her goal was to get on the Jumbotron with her sign.

After the game, Lillard tweeted a message to his followers asking them to congratulate Bellows on beating cancer.

Bellows responded with a screenshot of the tweet on her Instagram account, along with the message “And this right here is why @damianlillard is my favorite player. What a game and what a night. I am truly grateful. #11daysCancerFree #RipCity #GoBlazers,”
