Jared SullingerInsisting that there has been no discussion of shutting down any players for the reminder of the season, Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens told reporters Monday that he hopes Avery Bradley and Jared Sullinger can play in the team’s next game.

Bradley practiced Monday with a strained right Achilles that has sidelined him for the last 3 1/2 games. Sullinger, who played through a thigh contusion to record 36 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons, is expected to return to practice Tuesday. Both could be available for Wednesday’s road game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Kris Humphries, who did not travel with the team to Detroit over the weekend due to tendinitis in his right knee, did not practice on Monday, and his status is uncertain.
