Chad Johnson might need to change his last name to “Huitcinq” now that he’s playing north of the border.
The wide receiver formerly known as Chad Ochocinco signed with the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes, the league’s official Twitter account revealed Thursday.

Johnson spent 2012 training camp with the Miami Dolphins, but he was released after being arrested on charges of domestic battery. Johnson spent the 2011 season with the New England Patriots and caught 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown before being cut.
Johnson originally was selected 36th overall in the 2001 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, with whom he spent 10 seasons. He has 766 receptions for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns in his NFL career, during which he has made six Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams.
Johnson is known as much for his name change, Twitter account and reality television appearances as he is for his football career.
