Donald SterlingThere no longer are questions about the authenticity of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s racially insensitive remarks.

Two NBA lawyers left the law firm representing V. Stiviano on Monday, and TMZ Sports’ sources say the lawyers are satisfied that the audio recording of Sterling’s remarks is real, the outlet reported. Two NBA attorneys went to the law office of Mac Nehoray on Monday afternoon and, along with Stiviano, authenticated the audio clips.

Sterling made headlines last weekend when audio surfaced of him talking with Stiviano and making several racist remarks. The event set off a firestorm in the NBA, with Clippers players staging a silent protest on the court and sponsors pulling out of partnerships with the team.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the league will hold a press conference Tuesday to discuss the matter.

TMZ’s sources maintain there is “no doubt” that Sterling knew the conversation was being recorded.
