Former BC Star Johnny Gaudreau Scores First NHL Goal Against Canucks (Video)

Just three days ago, Johnny Gaudreau scored for Boston College in its Frozen Four matchup against eventual national champion Union.

On Sunday, “Johnny Hockey” made his NHL debut for the Calgary Flames and scored his first career goal in the second period. A shot from the point deflected off Flames center Joe Colborne and off Gaudreau’s stick as the puck trickled past Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom. There was a bit of luck involved, but Gaudreau and Calgary will certainly take it.
