Watching non-sports anchors comment on sports always is good for unintentional comedy.
That was the case Tuesday morning, when FOX News anchor Heather Childers slipped up on one rather important detail while introducing a highlight package of Connecticut’s 60-54 win over Kentucky in the NCAA men’s basketball championship game.
You see, the Huskies now are the NCAA national champs, not the “NAACP national champs.”

UPDATE: As Childers’ Twitter mentions piled up, she used the opportunity to apologize for her mistake, saying she simply misspoke.
