Greg BiffleGreg Biffle turned in his first top-five finish of the season to lead Roush Fenway Racing with a fifth-place finish in Saturday night’s 500-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway.

Biffle used a combination of pit strategy and speed, leading five laps with his No. 16 3M/Red Cross Ford Fusion en route to the strong finish.

“We worked really hard all night and probably didn’t have a fifth-place car, but we worked really hard on it and we had good pit stops and track position was everything tonight,” Biffle said. “Those last restarts we were on the outside, the inside and then the outside and we picked up one or two spots there at the end. Everybody worked hard, and we will keep working.”

Carl Edwards battled the “Lady in Black” to a 13th-place finish, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished 20th.
