Ilya Bryzgalov has silenced most critics by picking up seven wins since being traded to the Minnesota Wild, but his bizarre performance Sunday against the Nashville Predators has fans wondering if he will crack under the pressure in the playoffs.

Bryzgalov skated outside of the net in the first period to play the puck, but he became so overwhelmed by the approaching Predators that he tripped and fell, allowing left winger Rich Clune to score on an open net.

Clune’s goal is particularly embarrassing considering it was just his seventh tally in 119 career games.

Bryzgalov gave up four more goals before being replaced by John Curry in the third period. The Predators won the final game of the regular season 7-3.
