Boston Bruins winger Jarome Iginla was red-hot in the month of March and he was named the NHL’s First Star of the Month on Tuesday for his tremendous efforts.

The 36-year-old scored a team-high 13 goals in March, including five game-winners, and he also contributed four assists, giving him 17 points in 17 games — but that wasn’t all. Iginla added a couple of milestones to his already-illustrious career, playing in his 1,300th NHL game on March 17 against the Wild, and he also passed John Bucyk on the NHL’s all-time goals list.
