Fans will have a chance to own a piece of baseball history when Johnny Pesky’s personal collection is auctioned at noon Saturday at Fenway Park’s State Street Pavilion.
The auction includes over 200 personal pieces — jerseys, bats, balls, tickets and photographs, among other items — from one of Boston’s most beloved athletes. Pesky’s 2004 and 2007 World Series rings also will be auctioned, and according to his son, David Pesky, nothing meant more to the Red Sox legend than his 2004 ring.
