Jon LesterJon Lester finally got into the win column this season with a 4-2 victory over the New York Yankees.

After two tough-luck losses this year, the left-hander earned Amica Pitcher of the Week Honors with his solid outing against the Bronx Bombers on Friday night. Lester outdueled CC Sabathia to earn the victory, allowing just two runs over 6 2/3 innings while striking out six on the night.

Lester has now won 10 games against the Yankees since 2009, which is the most wins of any pitcher against New York over that span. The southpaw has also won 8 games at the new Yankee Stadium, the most among visiting pitchers.
