Anderson, who was BC’s second-leading scorer last season, averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game over his three seasons with the Eagles. The 6-foot-9 forward has one year of eligibility remaining.

The Long Beach, Calif., native might be the first of many departures from Boston College, as it is rumored that Olivier Hanlan — BC’s scoring leader — is considering leaving school early for the NBA. In addition, sophomore guard Joe Rahon reportedly is considering a transfer to a school on the West Coast.

A source told the Boston Globe earlier this month Anderson also is thinking about transferring to a West Coast school.
